BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is seeking a Power Electronics Intern to support engineering and technician teams with hands-on tasks, test box assembly, calibration, and equipment maintenance in Kokomo, IN. The role balances school commitments and contributes to assembly, testing, and safety improvements.

You will program assemblies, assist with inventory, soldering and wire harness work, and participate in lab reorganizations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 scale, or B average, at hire date.
• Ability to work 20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours during breaks.
• Self-motivated with good time management and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and technician activities such as test box assembly and product testing.
• Calibrate equipment and ensure due dates are met.
• Document and communicate assembly and test results.
• Assist with lab reorganizations and inventory control.
• Work in a team environment with safety focus.
