Job summary

LG Magna e-Powertrain USA, Inc. in Southeast Michigan is recruiting a Sales Account Manager who will own the full commercial lifecycle for assigned OEM accounts.

You will lead price negotiations, manage programs from sourcing to mass production, and coordinate with HQ, engineering, suppliers and manufacturing to ensure on-time launches. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business, at least six years in automotive account management, willingness to travel up to 10%, and the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of account management experience in the automotive industry.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and a valid driver’s license for local travel.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main liaison between customers and global HQ.
• Manage programs through the full commercial lifecycle from sourcing to mass production.
• Lead commercial and price negotiations including annual cost-reduction efforts.
• Lead quote generation and cost/profitability analysis.
• Collaborate with HQ to track monthly revenue and project profitability.
• Review contracts and terms & conditions.
• Set up new customers and maintain price files.
• Support supplier portal management and tooling/invoicing processes.
• Assist Supply Chain to resolve shortages and ensure timely launches.
• Oversee prototype, pre-production, mass production, and service requirements.
