A leading electrical services provider in Portland, Oregon, is seeking an EV Licensed Electrician to manage installation, inspection, and repair of electrical systems, including EV charging stations. The ideal candidate will have an electrical apprenticeship or degree, experience with Navy Nuclear Electronics, and effective communication skills in English. Job Responsibilities
  • Accountable for installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, adjustment, repair or replacement of customer equipment, and documentation including test reports and service summary.
  • Instruct customers and personnel on operation and maintenance of equipment; performs warranty work and start‑up service.
  • Constructs and tests circuits and equipment utilizing tools such as computers, workstations, circuit diagrams and test instruments.
  • Provides technical support in product service, product training and applications.
  • Analyzes complex problems, interprets maintenance manuals, isolates and corrects faults, and consults with product support and engineering personnel.
  • Reports customer suggestions, assists in development of design modifications, implements modifications and provides installation support.
  • Develops and implements training courseware and provides training to customers and other service representatives.
  • Maintains ongoing customer relationships concerning equipment repair and maintenance, and maintains service equipment, tools, and documentation.
  • Contributes to Field Services small project coordination and execution on customer site (end of life, modernization, upgrade, etc.).
  • Provides support to Level 2 and Level 3 FSRs for removal of electrical equipment.
  • Interprets blueprints, service documents, specifications, reporting, and quality requirements.
  • Performs basic audits of customer’s electrical systems and equipment.
  • Documents all required information for each site (technical report) and communicates with Project Coordinator to ensure smooth execution.
  • Properly documents, labels, and returns all defective parts utilized in the repair of equipment to the designated disposal/repair location.
Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Completion of an electrical apprenticeship (8,000 hours) or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Military experience within Navy Nuclear Electronic Technicians and Electrician’s Mate.
  • Experience: Electrical start‑up and testing experience including EV charging stations, Category 2, and DC Fast Chargers.
  • Required: Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Travel: 50%.
  • Work Schedule: 6 am–6 pm, Monday–Friday; may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation

$25–50 per hour based on experience.
