Qualifications

• Military experience in Navy Nuclear Electronic Technicians and Electrician’s Mate is a plus.
• Experience with EV charging stations and DC Fast Chargers is preferred.

Job description

The EV Licensed Electrician is accountable for installation, inspection and testing, troubleshooting, and adjustment, repair or replacement of customer equipment. Provides documentation, including test reports and service summary to customer. Instructs customers and personnel on the operation and maintenance of equipment. Performs warranty work and start‑up service. Constructs and tests circuits and equipment utilizing various tools and machines such as computers, workstations, circuit diagrams and test instruments/equipment. Provides technical support in product service, product training and applications. Analyzes complex problems in equipment and machinery and interprets maintenance manuals, using knowledge of systems and electronics to isolate and correct the faults.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex problems in equipment and machinery and interpret maintenance manuals to isolate faults.
• Consult with product support and engineering personnel to determine solutions to complex problems in system operation.
• Report customer suggestions on product improvement and existing product designs to the appropriate technical specialist.
• Assist in the development of design modifications; implement modifications and provide installation support.
• Develop and implement training courseware and provide training to customers and other service representatives.
• Develop and maintain ongoing customer relationships with regards to all aspects of equipment repair and maintenance.
• Maintain service equipment, tools and documentation.
• Contribute to Field Services small projects coordination and execution on customer site (end of life, modernization, upgrade, etc.).
• Provide support to Level 2 and Level 3 FSRs as it pertains to removal of electrical equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and other service documents, including but not limited to specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
• Perform basic audits of customer’s electrical systems and equipment.
• Document all required information for each site (technical report).
• Communicate with Project Coordinator to ensure smooth execution.
• Properly document, label, and return all defective parts utilized in the repair of equipment to the designated disposal/repair location.

Qualifications

• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship (8,000 hours) or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Military experience in positions such as Navy Nuclear Electronic Technicians and Electrician’s Mate.
• Electrical start‑up and testing experience including EV charging stations, Category 2, and DC Fast Chargers.
• Capability to effectively communicate in English, both written and spoken.

Additional Requirements

• Travel: up to 50% of time.
• Work schedule: 6am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, may include nights, weekends, holidays.

Compensation

$25–$50 per hour based on experience.
