Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking an EV/Hybrid Technician (Diagnostic Specialist) to repair and diagnose modern vehicles, including EVs and hybrids, delivering high-quality service and guest experiences. The role requires strong technical/mechanical skills, a focus on safety, and the ability to work with manufacturer certifications.

Qualifications

• EV/Hybrid Certifications required.
• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• ASE certifications heavily preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the assigned repair order.
• Communicate with the service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by Asbury standards.
• Conduct road tests to verify work completed and needed repairs when practical.
• Perform all levels of diagnosis and repair on vehicles.
