Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, seeks an experienced Mechanic Tech IV in a high production shop. You will conduct major diagnostics and repairs across A/C, brakes, electrical systems, engines and drivetrains, while mentoring junior technicians and ensuring quality service.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting Hybrid/EV/ADAS issues, maintaining thorough vehicle records, and upholding safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in vehicle diagnostics and repair.
• Must hold eight certifications A-1 through A-8.
• Required certifications include Brake, Tire & Wheel, A/C, Battery Charge and Check, Warranty, Laser Alignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform major and technically difficult diagnostics, repairs and overhauls.
• Diagnose and repair brakes, driveline, electrical, engines and transmission systems.
• Diagnose Hybrid, EV and ADAS concerns.
• Lead and train other technicians.
• Document vehicle information and track service history.
