Insight Global is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair electric vehicles, with a strong focus on EV/HEV systems, HV/LV knowledge, and delivering excellent customer service.

The role involves hands-on repairs, thorough documentation, and collaboration with the service team and customers. Remote support may be required to assist mobile service operations.

Qualifikationen

• 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician, including EV/HEV diagnosis and repair.
• Customer facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use applications such as Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS software.
• EPA 609 Certification.
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year; drivers under 21 require 3 years license and training on hire.

Aufgaben

• Repair basic and major mechanical issues and diagnose basic electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintain knowledge of High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV), and EV powertrains.
• Follow repair order documentation procedures (Three C's).
• Document all customer vehicle interactions using the software suite.
• Communicate and collaborate with the service team and customers.
• Demonstrate and teach learned technical skills to others.
• Ensure attention to detail and positive client experiences.
• Ability to work remotely and support mobile service team as needed.

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and repairing electric vehicles. You will demonstrate your passion for sustainable transportation and creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Confidently repair basic and major mechanical issues and perform basic electrical and mechanical diagnosis
• Maintain a high knowledge level of High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV), and general electric vehicle systems
• Follow correct repair order documentation procedures, i.e. The Three C's
• Effectively work with the appropriate software suite to properly and completely document all customer vehicle interactions
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with other members of the service team (i.e., advisor, manager, etc.) as well as customers.
• Ability to demonstrate and teach learned technical skills/knowledge with others
• Demonstrate attention to detail and passion for creating positive client experiences

Ability to work remotely and support mobile service team as needed

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician, including previous experience with EV/HEV diagnosis and repair Knowledge of High Voltage systems, Low Voltage systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrains
• Customer facing experience exhibiting excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use applications such as Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS software
• EPA 609 Certification
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year. (Drivers under 21 must have maintained a Driver’s License for a minimum of 3 years and successfully complete Training upon hire
• Preferred Qualifications:
• ASE Certifications (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L3, L4 - ADAS)
• Experience in luxury automobile repair environments
