Job summary

Blue Bird Corporation in the United States is seeking an EV Field Service Engineer to provide EV-specific technical and commercial support to dealer service personnel and customers. You will collaborate with engineering, publications, and training teams to advance EV powertrain initiatives and ensure service teams meet training requirements.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; 5+ years OEM service and dealership contact experience
• 5+ years automotive diagnosis and repair experience in dealership or independent shops
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident required

Responsibilities

• Provide EV product technical support to dealer and end user service personnel.
• Ensure dealership management understands technician training requirements for EV products to improve repair capability.
• Develop EV powertrain technical publications with the technical publications & training group.
• Provide service labor time standard development support for EV powertrain repairs.
• Support EV powertrain training requests from dealers.
• Engage with product development and current model engineering on EV powertrain projects.
• Perform other related job duties.
