Job summary
Harbinger is seeking an Automotive Software Engineer to support scaling efforts for the Baux Project, chassis, and generator project. You will develop a Diagnostics Tool for core products and R&D, including a proof‑of‑concept for an Android Tablet, and work onsite with hardware in a cross‑functional environment.
You will collaborate with the End of Line team, perform unit testing, and ensure high-quality software delivery while applying your knowledge of UDS, CAN, ODX, and ISO 26262 safety
Qualifications
- Automotive software engineering experience with UDS, CAN, ODX.
- Proficient in Python and C++.
- Strong diagnostics and unit testing knowledge.
- Experience using diagnostic services (UDS) on Ethernet, CAN and LIN.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools (e.g., CANdela Studio).
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot faults.
- Experience validating diagnostic functions on hardware/vehicle platforms.
- ISO 26262 safety process familiarity is a plus.
