Cumming Group in Los Angeles, CA, seeks an experienced Project Manager to support a public agency's EV charging program. You will oversee field and office activities, coordinate staff, monitor scope, schedule and budget, and report progress to client leadership.

The role requires a BS in a relevant field, 10+ years in construction management, and at least 3 years as owner’s representative. Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint, strong communication, and California driver's license are

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or similar field.
• Minimum ten years of construction management on transportation or infrastructure projects.
• At least three years as owner’s representative on a major project of similar scope and budget.
• Prior EV charger installation project experience is required.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint; good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as Owner's representative for EV Charging Program, managing field and office activities.
• Monitor scope, schedule, and budget; report progress to client's leadership.
• Lead design reviews, propose solutions, and prepare construction documents.
• Support contractor solicitation, analyze drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate environmental and sustainability contract specifications as needed.
• Track changes, confirm approvals, and manage change documentation.
• Develop and manage project schedule with monthly progress reporting.
• Assist cost engineering activities including budget reviews and forecasts.
• Maintain risk register and communicate risk status to client.
• Ensure conformance with contract documents and project baseline.
