Job summary

Highland Electric Fleets is seeking a detail-oriented Field Commissioning Technician to support go-live processes for new EV charging sites across the United States. You will conduct vehicle inspections, perform site readiness checks, and document findings while coordinating with the Commissioning Engineer and on-site teams.

This is a remote role requiring substantial travel to customer locations nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Represent Highland at customer locations with professionalism.
• Support go-live for new EV charging sites and coordinate on-site activities.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and document findings prior to activation.
• Assist technicians with asset inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on-site.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with standards.
• Maintain thorough documentation in asset management and project systems.
• Support HV charger operations and perform LV battery replacements as needed.
• Maintain tools and a clean, safe work environment.
• Develop customer service skills to ensure a positive go-live experience.
