Job summary

OpConnect in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain EV charging stations. The role requires hands-on electrical/EM fieldwork and independent problem-solving, with up to 75% travel across Oregon and Washington.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical/electromechanical field service experience.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 75% including overnight trips.
• Ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, and connectivity issues.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain EV charging stations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Identify issues using diagnostic tools.
• Assist with charger installation, commissioning, and software configuration.
• Travel to customer sites throughout Oregon and Washington.
• Document repairs and communicate updates to customers and the technical support team.
