Crash Champions is seeking a skilled body repair technician to examine damaged vehicles and efficiently plan repair processes, coordinating with teammates to maintain on-time status.

You will perform quality repairs, decide when to repair or replace parts based on safety, cost, and cycle time, and guide apprentices when needed. The role offers comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience using a frame machine to align damaged vehicles.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and efficiently plans repair process.
• Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
• Makes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components to access areas.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, sands repaired surfaces with tools.
• Directs apprentice on tasks and explains procedures.
