Amerit Fleet Solutions in Philadelphia, PA is hiring a Travel EV Technician/Automotive Mechanic to repair, maintain, and retrofit our fleet of Electric Autonomous Vehicles (EV/AV). This travel‑heavy role offers $40‑$55 per hour with weekly pay, full benefits within 30 days, paid training through Amerit University, and 75–100% expected travel.

You will perform electrical, mechanical and software updates, document work, and collaborate with engineering teams in a fast‑paced, safety‑first

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience working on cars, including EV/AV systems.
• Complex HW retrofits and AV HW replacement.
• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and automotive shop equipment.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and software components and their interaction.
• Strong computer skills and aptitude to learn new tech.
• Impeccable communication and safety focus.
• Ability to work in a travel-intensive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist technician team with service and repair of electrical, mechanical, and integration issues on autonomous vehicles.
• Performing software and firmware updates.
• Documenting repairs, creating repair orders and noting diagnoses and parts required.
• Collaborating with engineering/service teams to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
• Participating in continuing education and training and assisting with fleet-wide hardware/software retrofits.
