Job summary

West Georgia Technical College in LaGrange seeks an Automotive-EV Technology Instructor to lead both Automotive Technology and Electric Vehicle courses for day, evening, and online programs. The instructor will develop curricula, teach in various modalities, and assess student progress in a state-college setting.

Minimum qualifications include a diploma in Automotive Technology or related field, 3 years of field experience, and Master ASE or xEV certificates within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Automotive Technology, Automotive-Electric Vehicle, or related diploma/degree from an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Three (3) years of field experience.
• Master ASE Certification, xEV Level 1/2 Certificates, or ASE eligible; required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in theory and practical applications of Automotive Technology and Electric Vehicles.
• Teach face-to-face, hybrid, or online courses as needed for daytime and evening programs.
• Develop curricula, syllabi, and course materials and assess student progress.

Education

Diploma in Automotive Technology / Automotive-Electric Vehicle

Master ASE Certification / xEV Level 1/2 Certificates
