We are searching for an experienced Application Engineer who has a demonstrated history of personal growth to help establish and perform all the Application Engineer functions such as supporting sales, service, and operations, across multiple client sites in North America. This person will be a member of the US leadership team and report directly to the North American COO while also working closely with the European parent company.

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

The Application Engineer is the first point of contact for all questions relating to the technology of the EV Charging System product line. They will be the front-line contact to support customers in the selection and planning of charging infrastructure projects to find the optimal solution together with sales. The Application Engineer acts as the critical link between customers, sales, and product development.

The ideal candidate can communicate well including listening and speaking and can describe technical details involving the systems with both the end user clients and the internal support teams. In addition, the ideal candidate will have an organized and structured way of working without the danger of any items falling through the cracks while being flexible and adaptable in changing situations. You can handle yourself well in social settings and have a comfortable manner about you which will place others at ease. When appropriate you can be diplomatic, assertive and can demonstrate an informative teaching style to convey complicated information. Finally, you have fluent language skills in English, with German and Italian a plus.

Job Summary:
  • Responsible for technical advice to customers.
  • Sales support with technical questions.
  • Authorization to work in the US.
  • Valid PASSPORT through at least 7-1-2024.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
Education / Experience:
  • Electrical Engineer EE
  • Engineering studies in the field of electrical engineering, electronics, or mechatronics.
  • Experience and understands Project Management.
  • Understanding of electromobility.
  • Experience and expertise in leading meetings and presentations using modernization and current high level presentation techniques.
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position.
  • Confident in using the Microsoft 365 family of applications including Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
Compensation:

Base compensation is between $100,000 - $120,000. Additional sucess bonuses are planned for in the future.
