Job summary

VOI is seeking a Safety Manager to lead health and safety across its German operations, with responsibilities spanning warehouses, field teams and offices. The role reports to the Global Head of Health & Safety and involves implementing local policies that align with VOI's global standards while ensuring compliance with German laws.

You will conduct audits, drive risk assessments, deliver training, and travel across Europe to maintain consistent safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a health and safety leadership or management role.
• Professional health and safety certification.
• Strong knowledge of local health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience developing and implementing health and safety policies, procedures and risk assessments.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct safety audits and incident investigations.
• Experience delivering training to improve safety performance.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Experience in logistics, mobility, transportation, warehouse operations or similar industries is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and embed health and safety practices across warehouses, field operations and offices.
• Develop, implement and maintain local HSE policies aligned with global standards and local law.
• Identify and assess operational risks and implement effective controls.
• Travel to different sites in Europe for safety checks and ensure consistency.
• Plan and conduct safety inspections, audits, risk assessments and investigations with corrective actions.
• Coordinate and support health and safety training for teams.
• Collaborate with Operations, Legal, HR and central teams to integrate safety into processes and roadmaps.
