Job summary

Ameriprise Financial in Minneapolis seeks a senior End User Computing/Endpoint Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise endpoint management across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices, including Microsoft Intune configurations, compliance policies, and security baselines.

You will partner with Security, Architecture, Infrastructure and Operations to deliver secure, scalable, and governance-aligned solutions that enhance user experience and productivity, including AI-enabled workplace

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
5-7 years of relevant engineering experience supporting enterprise endpoint technologies.
Strong experience supporting Windows endpoint management in a large enterprise environment.
Experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 technologies.
Experience designing and implementing endpoint configuration, compliance, and security policies.
Experience managing enterprise browser platforms, including Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, browser policy management, extension governance, and browser security controls.
Experience with Microsoft Edge Management Service or similar enterprise browser management technologies.
Experience supporting macOS and mobile device management platforms.
Experience with PowerShell automation and scripting.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Experience working within ITIL-based operational processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support endpoint management for Windows, macOS, and mobile.
Develop and maintain Intune configurations, policy enforcement, and device management strategies.
Design endpoint policies using modern management technologies and Group Policy where appropriate.
Evaluate, test, and validate new configurations and security controls before production deployment.
Collaborate with application owners to ensure endpoint compatibility and user experience.
Design, implement, and support enterprise browser management for Edge and Chrome; govern policies and security controls.
Support AI-enabled workplace technologies such as Copilot; governance and readiness.
Create and maintain engineering standards, designs, docs, and support procedures.
Participate in governance, architecture reviews, and technology planning; support ITIL processes.
