Job summary

Nebius is seeking a Regional Intelligence Analyst to develop an up-to-date regional understanding of Europe, focusing on authorities, sites, projects, and stakeholders relevant to Nebius’ operations and growth. The role involves monitoring political, regulatory, and infrastructure developments and producing decision-focused briefings.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience researching the European environment at multiple levels and strong English writing and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Eight years of regional research, commercial or business intelligence, risk analysis, policy research, or related field.
• Experience researching the European environment at national, regional, and local levels.
• Familiarity with government structures, legislative and regulatory processes across Europe.
• Open-source research using diverse sources, official documents, public records, media and social media.
• Experience mapping stakeholders, community activity, and reputational issues.
• Excellent English reading, writing and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor political, governmental, regulatory, and legal developments at national, regional, and local levels across Europe.
• Track policy, permitting, and planning processes affecting operations and projects.
• Assess local environments around company sites, including activism and sentiment trends.
• Map and analyze stakeholders: authorities, officials, local groups, and professional bodies.
• Monitor media trends and reputational issues relating to the company and sites.
• Analyze developments in energy, infrastructure, water, and environment impacting sites.
• Identify emerging risks, changes, and opportunities for regional operations.
• Prepare regional assessments, country/site reviews, profiles, alerts, and briefings.
• Provide research support for site evaluations, executive visits, and meetings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align monitoring with business needs.
• Maintain up-to-date regional intelligence picture and reporting.
