Job summary

Bybit is seeking a senior leader to head the Internal Audit function for its EU entity. You will shape audit strategy, build and manage the team, and deliver independent assurance to the Board. This role balances hands-on audit work with strategic oversight and regulator engagement.

Travel as needed and close collaboration with global IA to align group standards, while adapting to EU requirements. Strong leadership and deep crypto/fintech knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 12–18 years of progressive experience in internal or external audit, risk, or controls functions.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior/leadership role within regulated financial services, fintech, payments, or digital assets.
• Professional certifications required: CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or equivalent; additional certifications valued.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the multi-year internal audit strategy for Bybit EU.
• Lead the EU audit team and provide independent assurance to the Board.
• Coordinate regulatory examination support and stakeholder engagement across Compliance, Risk, Legal and Finance.
• Deliver risk-based audit plans covering finance, operations, IT, cybersecurity, and crypto-specific processes.
