Job summary

ETS Vision in Boise, ID seeks a part-time Optometrist to join its private practice team. The role offers a flexible 1–3 day per week schedule with potential for additional days as the practice grows.

You will provide comprehensive primary eye care, including exams, glasses, and contact lens fittings, in a relaxed patient-centered environment. Ideal candidates hold a Doctor of Optometry with Idaho licensure (or the ability to obtain) and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills,

AnestablishedprivateoptometrypracticeinBoise,Idahoisseekingapart-timeoptometristtojoinitsteam.Thisisanoutstandingopportunityforadoctorseekingflexibility,clinicalautonomy,andthechancetoprovidecomprehensiveprimaryeyecareinoneofthefastest-growingcitiesintheNorthwest.

Thepracticeisseekinganoptometristtoworkonetothreedaysperweek,withschedulingtailoredtothecandidate’savailability.Saturdaycoverageonetotwotimespermonthispreferredbutnotrequired,andtheownerishappytoworkwiththerightindividualtocreateaschedulethatfitsbothparties.Thereisalsopotentialforadditionaldaysinthefutureasthepracticecontinuestogrow,thoughadditionalhoursarenotguaranteed.

Patientcareiscenteredoncomprehensiveeyeexaminations,glasses,andcontactlensesinarelaxed,patient-focusedenvironment.Thepracticeprimarilyprovidesroutinevisioncare,referringmostmedicaleyediseasetolocalspecialists.Foranoptometristwithaninterestinexpandingmedicalservices,thereisflexibilitytograduallyincorporateadditionalmedicalcareintothepracticeovertime.

Doctorstypicallysee14to20patientsperday,allowingampletimetodeliverpersonalizedcareandbuildlastingrelationshipswithpatients.Thepatientbaseconsistsprimarilyofadultswhilestillprovidingcareforfamiliesandpediatricpatients.

Experiencedstaffmembershandlepatientworkupsandpretesting,allowingdoctorstofocusonpatientcare.ThepracticeutilizesModernizingMedicine(ModMed)electronichealthrecordsandisequippedwith:

• Optosretinalimaging
• HumphreyVisualField
• Cornealtopographer/wavefrontanalyzer
• Autorefractor
• Tonometer

Theidealcandidateenjoyscomprehensiveoptometry,contactlensfitting,andpracticingindependentlywhilehavingthesupportofanexperiencedpracticeownerwhenneeded.
