AnestablishedprivateoptometrypracticeinBoise,Idahoisseekingapart-timeoptometristtojoinitsteam.Thisisanoutstandingopportunityforadoctorseekingflexibility,clinicalautonomy,andthechancetoprovidecomprehensiveprimaryeyecareinoneofthefastest-growingcitiesintheNorthwest.

Thepracticeisseekinganoptometristtoworkonetothreedaysperweek,withschedulingtailoredtothecandidate’savailability.Saturdaycoverageonetotwotimespermonthispreferredbutnotrequired,andtheownerishappytoworkwiththerightindividualtocreateaschedulethatfitsbothparties.Thereisalsopotentialforadditionaldaysinthefutureasthepracticecontinuestogrow,thoughadditionalhoursarenotguaranteed.

Patientcareiscenteredoncomprehensiveeyeexaminations,glasses,andcontactlensesinarelaxed,patient-focusedenvironment.Thepracticeprimarilyprovidesroutinevisioncare,referringmostmedicaleyediseasetolocalspecialists.Foranoptometristwithaninterestinexpandingmedicalservices,thereisflexibilitytograduallyincorporateadditionalmedicalcareintothepracticeovertime.

Doctorstypicallysee14to20patientsperday,allowingampletimetodeliverpersonalizedcareandbuildlastingrelationshipswithpatients.Thepatientbaseconsistsprimarilyofadultswhilestillprovidingcareforfamiliesandpediatricpatients.

Experiencedstaffmembershandlepatientworkupsandpretesting,allowingdoctorstofocusonpatientcare.ThepracticeutilizesModernizingMedicine(ModMed)electronichealthrecordsandisequippedwith:

• Optosretinalimaging
• HumphreyVisualField
• Cornealtopographer/wavefrontanalyzer
• Autorefractor
• Tonometer

Theidealcandidateenjoyscomprehensiveoptometry,contactlensfitting,andpracticingindependentlywhilehavingthesupportofanexperiencedpracticeownerwhenneeded.
