The Opportunity:
The Pre-Kindergarten Two-Way extended term substitute will provide instruction to students in Spanish (80%) and English (20%) within a self-contained classroom. The successful candidate will collaborate with grade-level, cluster, and whole‑school teams of teachers, including specialists in ESL, SSL, and Special Education. This individual must plan and implement a curriculum that is academically and linguistically active, developmentally appropriate, and socially/culturally responsive to the needs of the dual language student population. They will have experience in planning, implementing, and adapting an ongoing curriculum that aligns with the Massachusetts State Frameworks and the local Cambridge Learning Expectations for CPP. Additionally, they will work collaboratively with parents and guardians to involve them in classroom activities and school-wide events. Other related duties as assigned.
