Job summary

Cenovus Energy is seeking a Business Support Analyst to lead the functional design and execution of downstream refined products commercial activity through our ETRM system. The successful candidate will co-support the URVR suite of tools for yield and production accounting and become the Commercial Business Support team's subject matter expert on risk reporting.

Qualifications

4+ years of analytical and quantitative experience using SQL and BI tools.
Experience with energy trading/ETRM systems and risk reporting.
Strong data modeling and relational database knowledge.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Serve as first-line functional support for business questions, requirements clarification, testing, release support, and coordination with D&IT across Cenovus' ETRM landscape.
Coordinate testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for enhancements, and document defects, enhancements, and issues.
Partner with business users in Dublin, Lima, Toledo, Superior, and Lloydminster to support URVR suite of solutions.
Promote standard processes and escalate legitimate requirements or gaps.
Collaborate closely with Canadian counterparts to drive consistency and knowledge sharing.
