Omni Air International is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic at our Baltimore base. You will perform routine, preventive and corrective maintenance on company aircraft, ensuring airworthiness and safety in accordance with manuals and FARs.

You will sign for work completed, coordinate with Lead Mechanics and Maintenance Control, and maintain accurate records while upholding professional standards on the ramp and hangar.

Qualifications

• Willing to work 10-12 hour shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Position may involve some travel.
• Regular attendance during regularly scheduled business hours.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid A&P License.
• Minimum of 3 years line maintenance experience on a B767/777 preferred.
• Valid state issued driver’s license with clear MVR with no major moving violations within the past 3 years
• Must be able to pass a 10 year background/criminal/motor vehicle records check and pre-employment drug screen
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine, non-routine and preventative maintenance in accordance with OAI manuals, manufacturers’ manuals, FARs and other established procedures to ensure timely release and continued airworthiness of company aircraft
• Sign for work accomplished including troubleshooting deferred maintenance items, and ensure proper recording of all maintenance tasks on company documents
• Coordinate with Lead Mechanic(s) and Maintenance Control to meet incoming aircraft and plan corrective actions
• Tag all repairable components and record reason for removal
• Attend training courses as assigned by supervisors and comply with company rules and policies
• Maintain clean work area, ensure proper equipment use and safe operations
• Carry out duties under direction of Director of Maintenance and Lead Mechanics
• Maintain an insurable driving record under Omni insurance guidelines
