Job summary

Omni Air International is seeking a certified A&P Mechanic to perform maintenance on our fleet, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with FARs. This role requires thorough troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination with Lead Mechanics.

Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED, an active A&P license, at least 3 years of line maintenance experience on Boeing 767/777, and be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work 10-12 hour shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Position may involve some travel.
• Regular attendance during business hours.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid A&P license.
• Minimum of 3 years line maintenance on a B767/777 preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR within 3 years.
• Must pass a 10 year background/criminal/motor vehicle records check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, non-routine and preventative maintenance per manuals to ensure airworthiness.
• Sign for work accomplished and record maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with Lead Mechanics and Maintenance Control for troubleshooting and planning.
• Keep work area clean and ensure proper equipment and parts are used.
• Represent Maintenance Department when onboard aircraft and attend prescribed training.
