Job summary

The NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks a contractor to assist with data extracts, ETL batch jobs, and reports for NC FAST using Cúram and Oracle. You will analyze reporting needs, implement solutions, and enhance existing data extracts and dashboards to meet mid to high complexity requirements.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, writing complex SQL against large CLOBS/XML, and supporting 24x7 on-call coverage.

Qualifications

Experience in using Oracle, Oracle Utilities, ETL tools.
PL/SQL scripting and Relational Database modeling.
Structured system development methodologies.
Ability to develop relationships/partnerships with customer by responding to needs and exhibiting a sense of urgency.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures.
Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects or BIRT.
Experience with Agile development.
Data Warehouse experience.
Experience with developing dashboards with Power BI and Azure Synapse.
Familiarity with Amazon RedShift & Tableau.

Responsibilities

Gather and document requirements for new or changes to existing data extracts and reports.
Develop complex SQL queries against large tables storing CLOBS/XML and related data structures.
Analyze and fix issues in existing queries and reports to ensure data quality and performance.
Provide 24x7 On-Call support/rotation.
