Job summary

VTG is seeking a detail-oriented ETL Engineer to join our data engineering team. You will design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics, data warehousing, and application needs across large data sets.

Ideal candidates have strong Linux, Python, SQL, and AWS experience, with an active TS/SCI clearance with Poly. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver mission-relevant analytics and secure, scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• 6–8 years Linux experience focusing on scalable data processing.
• 6–8 years OO programming, with Python preferred.
• 4–6 years ETL with large data sets and cloud experience (AWS/C2S acceptable).
• Strong SQL skills and data warehousing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics and data warehousing.
• Ingest, transform, and load data from varied sources into centralized storage.
• Develop cloud-native AWS solutions and ensure data quality and governance.
• Provide leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to the team.
• Deliver dashboards and analytics to stakeholders; support accreditation.
