Vantor is seeking a seasoned software professional to support a secure, enterprise-level analytic tool for national security. You will work on ETL pipelines to ingest diverse time-critical data and support users globally.

The role emphasizes Python-based ETL development, PostgreSQL/PostGIS interactions, Bash scripting, and web-service exposure in a secure environment. Candidates must meet a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with a current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, geography or related field or four years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience in Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Basic knowledge of HTTP.

Responsibilities

• Providing software development support in a secure environment using multiple languages and platforms.
• Interacting with PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases.
• Maintaining and developing a custom Python-based ETL framework.
• Scripting/automated gathering of new data sources.
