Job summary

OxyChem in the United States is seeking an experienced Ethylene Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance and reliability programs with emphasis on safety, environmental stewardship, and cost efficiency.

You will direct the Maintenance Department, manage budgets, coordinate turnarounds, and ensure compliance with PSM and the Responsible Care standards while driving uptime and process reliability for our Texas operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to read, write and speak in English.
• Experience in maintenance supervision/management preferred.
• Ability to respond to off-hour emergencies and callouts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain protection of the environment and health and safety as top priority.
• Prepare and administer programs to reduce costs and improve efficiency, safety, and reliability.
• Direct the Maintenance Department to comply with PSM and Responsible Care standards.
• Direct maintenance activities to reduce costs, improve productivity, and enhance safety.
• Develop and control maintenance budgets, monitor expenditures, and forecast needs.
• Establish measures for a comprehensive maintenance and reliability program.
• Coordinate maintenance staff for safe execution of multi-million-dollar plant turnarounds.
