The Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) is seeking a Counsel II & Ethics, Wellness, and Practice Program Manager in Seattle, WA. This hybrid, exempt role leads ethics inquiries, develops educational materials, publishes ethics resources, and oversees wellness and practice management programs.

Required: JD or equivalent; 5+ years legal practice; 3–5 years in public speaking or CLE; strong supervision skills.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or WSBA Law Clerk program completion or equivalent to practice in WA State.
• Experience in ethics education, public speaking or CLE delivery.
• Experience supervising/leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Professional Responsibility Program, ethics guidance, CLE materials, and member consultations.
• Oversee Member Wellness and Practice Management Assistance programs.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external groups; manage ethics opinions database.
