Job summary

Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) seeks a Counsel II & Ethics, Wellness, and Practice Program Manager in Seattle to lead the Professional Responsibility Program and oversee the Wellness and Practice Management programs. This hybrid, full-time role advances ethics education, supports staff operations, and collaborates across departments and external groups.

The role requires a JD (or WSBA equivalents) and 5 years of legal practice with leadership experience; national engagement in ethics

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or successful completion of the WSBA Law Clerk Program or other qualifying licenses to practice in WA state.
• 3–5 years of public speaking or delivering continuing legal education.
• 3–5 years’ supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Professional Responsibility Program with ethics guidance through CLE, articles, and member consultations.
• Oversee the Member Wellness Program and the Practice Management Assistance Program.
• Coordinate with Advancement Dept. leadership to develop strategies and policies; manage staff and operations.
