Job summary

American College of Physicians (ACP) seeks an Associate in its Center for Ethics and Professionalism. This hybrid role requires 2 days per week in either Philadelphia or Washington, DC, reporting to the Chief Advocacy Officer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or bioethics discipline required.
• Five years of related experience; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• Ability to research, analyze, and present complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing ethics, professionalism, and human rights position papers and case studies.
• Serve as staff liaison to the Ethics, Professionalism, and Human Rights Committee.
• Oversee review of ACP resolutions and manage follow-up.
• Develop strategy and content for ethics education for physicians, trainees, and students.
• Prepare summaries on ethics and professional issues for targeted ACP audiences.
