Job summary

IDB Group is seeking an active graduate student for a two-month internship in the Office of Ethics Investigations. The program, based in Washington, DC, offers on-the-job learning and exposure to ethics and conduct matters within a multilateral development bank environment.

The intern will assist in documents, templates, and case information, while gaining experience in investigations, compliance, and governance practices at the IDB Group.

Qualifications

• Active graduate student in criminal law, litigation, anti-corruption, international law, compliance, and/or ethics.
• Graduation date after the Internship period.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and preparing documents and communications related to Investigations and Intake.
• Assist in the preparation of drafts, templates, and protocols.
• Help obtain, review, and organize relevant case information.
• Support the Investigations Team with the collection and analysis of data, as needed.
• Conduct comparative research on legal standards and best practices across peer organizations.
• Contribute to special initiatives, projects, and other ad hoc assignments.
• Research, compile, analyze, and organize jurisprudence from the tribunals of multilateral organizations related to misconduct and workplace investigations.
