Job summary

McKinsey & Company seeks a seasoned Ethics & Compliance leader to identify and mitigate risks across Telecom, Media & Technology client service projects. Lead day-to-day E&C monitoring, guide policy development, and mentor delivery teams to uphold integrity and contractual guardrails.

You will partner with Legal, Risk, and regulatory experts, contributing as a trusted advisor within Sector Compliance. The role offers US/Europe base with global reach and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree(s) and/ or applicable professional certifications (e.g., Juris Doctor or CPA) preferred
• 7+ years of Telecom, Media & Technology industry experience; prior consulting with a background in risk and regulatory compliance preferred
• 5+ years of experience in developing, driving and implementing holistic E&C programs (preferably in Telecom, Media & Technology)
• Working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and compliance considerations relevant to Telecom, Media & Technology
• Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset to progress on ambiguous problems and see them through to resolution
• Influences and engages with all types of audiences to cultivate trust-based, peer-counselor relationships
• Builds trust-based relationships with leaders within and outside of the team; collaborates generously with others and is sought after as a key thought partner
• Drives outcomes on cross-functional and complex topics and possesses exceptional organizational and project management skills
• Exhibits highest levels of discretion and judgment in safeguarding confidential materials

Responsibilities

• You will lead the identification and mitigation of ethics and compliance risks across client service projects.
• You will lead day-to-day E&C monitoring activities across Telecom, Media & Technology projects, including compliance with contractual terms and guardrails.
• You will support development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and practices for identifying, managing, and reporting on ethics and compliance risks.
• You will review project plans, interim materials, communications, and final deliverables; synthesize data into insights for reporting.
• You will provide guidance on E&C-related training and communications for client delivery teams.
• You will collaborate with senior, cross-functional stakeholders and serve as a thought partner within the Sector Compliance team.
• You will support regionally focused integrity initiatives.
