Job summary

Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. is seeking an Ethics & Compliance Investigation Specialist to conduct thorough investigations into compliance and ethics concerns, including policy violations.

You will perform root cause analyses, develop corrective actions, and support leadership reporting while maintaining confidentiality and neutrality. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience in compliance, investigations, ethics, HR investigations, audit, risk management, legal support, regulatory matters, or related field.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices for internal compliance investigation programs.
• Experience conducting interviews, reviewing evidence, documenting facts, and preparing written summaries or reports.
• Ability to apply policies, procedures, standards, laws, or regulations to fact patterns.
• Experience using structured problem-solving or root cause analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Conducts full cycle compliance investigations of reports and related matters of varying complexity, including intake, evidence gathering, interviews, documentation, root cause analysis, and closure.
• Develops practical recommendations for corrective actions, preventive measures, and countermeasures to address root causes and reduce recurrence.
• Collaborates with Legal, HR, plant leadership, Finance, and other stakeholders to understand facts and align on responsive actions.
• Monitors corrective actions and escalates unresolved items to the Compliance Manager.
• Prepares investigation summaries and presentations for review by leadership and stakeholders.
• Provides guidance, coaching, and training on compliance policies and ethics awareness to associates.
