Job summary

The Standard in Portland, Oregon is seeking an Investigative Consultant to support the Business Conduct Program and ethics initiatives. You will perform investigations into misconduct, code of conduct violations, and related complaints, while coordinating training and policy updates.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of investigatory experience, excellent communication, and a JD or advanced degree preferred.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in business conduct, investigations, or related roles.
Experience in internal investigations within law enforcement or government/military roles may substitute for experience.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of the business.
Bachelor's degree is required.
JD or other relevant postgraduate degree or experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Review, evaluate and investigate reports of misconduct and determine appropriate actions.
Maintain and manage the case management system and anonymous reporting channel.
Assist with implementation and maintenance of the Business Conduct Program and related policies.
Partner with Enterprise Fraud Team and HR on investigations and risk mitigation actions.
Assist the Director with training on ethics-based policies and updating the Guide and procedures.
Champion a culture of compliance and promote speak-up resources.
Support policy governance and conflict-of-interest processes.
Develop metrics for investigations, compliance, and risk assessment tracking.
Stay current with applicable laws, regulations and accreditation standards.
