Job summary

Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks an attorney to support the Ethics & Conduct (E&C) Office within the Office of the General Counsel. You will assist in compliance, risk management, and investigations across the Lab, applying legal expertise to complex situations.

The role requires a Juris Doctor and at least 3 years in ethics/compliance, with potential for government security clearance.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school and bar admission in one or more jurisdictions.
• 3+ years of directly applicable experience in Ethics and Compliance.
• Experience advising on ethics and conduct, internal investigations, and compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Compliance and Mission Support Group with investigations, fact-finding, and reporting.
• Provide expertise on conflicts of interest reviews and risk mitigation.
• Develop briefs or training for personnel across the Lab on related topics.
