Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking a Renewables/Ethanol Production Worker to support cook, distillation, energy center, and DCS operations, plus corn grinding, fermentation, and related processes. You will monitor production, adjust inputs as directed, perform sampling and lab testing, and keep accurate records.

The role emphasizes hands-on, safety-conscious work in a 24x7 ethanol facility, with schedule flexibility including day/night shifts and weekend work. Prior production experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years’ relevant experience required.
• Basic computer operation and data entry skills.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment and/or a valid driver’s license preferred.
• Previous production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform processing functions in cook, distillation, energy center and/or DCS areas of ethanol production with assistance.
• Perform activities related to processing functions such as corn grinding and cook operations, yeast and fermentation quality control, yeast, distillation, evaporation, dryer and boiler operations.
• Monitor production processes and adjust equipment settings or inputs as directed to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Perform general product sampling, lab testing, document results, and report findings to crew leadership and/or laboratory personnel.
• Maintain documentation and record key production data as directed.
• Operate various types of mobile equipment.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks.
