Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking a Renewables/Ethanol Production Worker to support cook, distillation, energy center, and DCS operations. You will assist with corn grinding, fermentation, distillation, evaporation, dryer, and boiler processes, while sampling products and documenting results.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 0–2 years of production experience, and basic computer/data entry skills. 12-hour shifts, 24x7 facility, and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-2 years’ relevant experience required.
• Basic computer operation and data entry skills.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment and/or a valid driver’s license preferred.
• Previous production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform processing functions in cook, distillation, energy center and/or DCS areas of ethanol production with assistance.
• Engage in activities related to corn grinding, cook operations, yeast and fermentation quality control, distillation, evaporation, dryer and boiler operations.
• Monitor production processes and adjust equipment settings or inputs as directed for optimal efficiency.
• Perform product sampling, lab testing, document results, and report findings to crew leadership and/or lab personnel.
• Maintain documentation and record key production data as directed.
• Operate various types of mobile equipment.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks.
