Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. seeks a Renewables/Ethanol Production Worker to support cook, distillation, energy center and DCS operations, while assisting with corn grinding, fermentation, distillation, evaporation, dryer and boiler processes.

You will monitor production, adjust settings as directed, perform sampling and lab tests, maintain records, operate mobile equipment, and follow safety protocols in a 24x7 plant with 12‑hour shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience required.
• Basic computer operation and data entry skills expected.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment and/or hold a valid driver’s license preferred.
• Previous production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform processing functions in cook, distillation, energy center and/or DCS areas of ethanol production with assistance.
• Engage in corn grinding, cook operations, fermentation quality control, distillation, evaporation, dryer and boiler operations.
• Monitor production processes and adjust settings or inputs to maximize efficiency.
• Perform product sampling, lab testing and document results for crew leadership and lab personnel.
• Maintain accurate production records and operate mobile equipment.
• Complete general housekeeping to support safe and efficient operations.

Education

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

0-2 years’ relevant experience
