The Renewables/Ethanol Production Worker supports key areas of ethanol production, including cook, distillation, energy center, and DCS operations. Responsibilities also cover corn grinding, fermentation, evaporation, dryer, and boiler processes. The role involves monitoring production processes, adjusting equipment, sampling, lab testing, documentation, operating mobile equipment, and general housekeeping.
Work is performed in a 24×7 ethanol production facility. Production teams work 12‑hour shifts with two small crews scheduled per day, rotating day and night shifts. Shift assignment will be consistent and includes weekend and holiday work. Workers must be flexible to work either day or night shift based on business needs, with a night shift differential. The position involves exposure to adverse weather, dust, fumes, noise, and potentially hazardous materials. Workers must be willing and able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
