Job summary

BNY is seeking an ETF Basket Administrator to oversee daily production, validation, and timely dissemination of ETF baskets while maintaining strong controls across basket workflows. The role involves collaborating with fund servicing, operations, technology, and product teams to resolve issues and support launches.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of ETF or related operations experience, with advanced Excel skills and a detail-oriented, deadline-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
• Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.
• Experience in ETF operations, fund servicing, securities operations, or related investment operations.
• Proficient with ETF baskets, creation/redemption workflows, and primary market processes.
• Ability to manage time-sensitive responsibilities in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily ETF basket production cycle, including review, validation, and timely release of baskets.
• Monitor basket workflows to ensure correct setup, data inputs, and dependencies.
• Validate basket content for completeness, accuracy, and consistency across platforms.
• Investigate and resolve basket exceptions, stale data items, and identifier issues.
• Maintain and review key reference data used in basket administration (fund setup details, identifiers).
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve production issues and delays.
• Assist with new ETF launches by reviewing readiness and data availability.
• Support ongoing product maintenance and event impacts (distributions, corporate actions).
• Track open issues and provide updates in daily forums; document action items and owners.
• Participate in incident follow-up and root-cause discussions; identify control gaps.
• Contribute to process improvements to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to procedures, service expectations, escalation protocols, and risk standards.
