Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Technical Support specialist for process engineering in the Etch/Strip area of a semiconductor FAB. You will support production, EES, and process engineering to ensure lots/products are identified and equipment is qualified for use.

Responsibilities include analyzing SPC data, troubleshooting tool and process excursions, and creating OCAPs and recipes. Requires ASC degree or higher and experience in Etch/Strip and metrology within a clean room.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures.
• Strong data analysis and SPC theory understanding.
• Experience with Etch or Strip processes.
• Experience with metrology tools for thickness and particles.
• Ability to document activities and write specifications.
• Must be able to work in a clean room environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to SPC failures related to equipment or process.
• Analyze SPC data to identify root causes.
• Disposition lots and manage production holds.
• Coordinate with engineers on OCAP documents.
• Develop and document recipes; monitor equipment.
• Perform daily tests and calibrations.
• Mentor production operators.
