Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a process engineer to monitor and optimize etch tool performance and correlate monitoring data with measurements. You will document specifications, develop OCAPS, and lead experiments to improve manufacturing techniques.

The role involves collaboration with multiple teams, applying PFMEA and quality tools, and providing training. A BS in engineering (MS/PhD preferred) is expected, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and optimize etch tool performance.
  • Correlate inline process monitors to parametric measurements.
  • Establish and document equipment and process specifications.
  • Develop OCAPS for all processes.
  • Design, coordinate, and perform experiments to develop new processes.
  • Plan and execute technical projects and communicate results.
