Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Austin, TX, is seeking an Etch Equipment Technician to perform PM/CPM and system maintenance, calibrations, and quality testing for memory and logic devices. You will collaborate with engineers and manufacturing, follow SOPs, document procedures, and uphold health, safety and environmental guidelines while supporting continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical certification or ASE credentials.
• 3+ ASE certs or 4 years semiconductor experience.
• Familiarity with SPC methods.
• Strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Adherence to SOPs and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work off-hours.
• Electro-mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM)/Change Point Management (CPM)/System maintenance following SOPs to keep equipment and processes running smoothly.
• Troubleshoot failures using scripts and conduct failure analysis.
• Monitor equipment and processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with team and communicate effectively across the organization.
