Renesas Electronics Corp. in Palm Bay, Florida, seeks an Etch Equipment Maintenance Technician for night shift. This full-time, on-site role uses a compressed 3/4 day schedule with weekends off.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in semiconductor equipment maintenance, experience with AMAT Centura 5200 MxP, 8330/8110, P5000 MxP, and Gasonics tools; strong mechanical/electronic skills and SPC knowledge are required.

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of Etch tool sets in the Etch area.
• Maintain tool sets including Axcelis Fusion, Semitool SST/SRD and wet benches.

ETCH Equipment Maintenance Technician- Nights

Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced technician to fill the role of Etch Maintenance Technician supporting its manufacturing facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and communication skills. This position offers development opportunities working for a leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog semiconductors.

This is a night shift position, and hours are on a compressed work week, 3 days- 7pm to 7am one week (Mon, Tue & Wed), and 4 days the next week (Mon, Tue, Wed & Thur).

Every weekend off.

Education Requirements:

• AS or AA in electrical, mechanical, military training, or 5+ years relevant work experience.

Experience Requirements / Skills:

• 5+ years supporting AMAT Centura 5200 MxP, AMAT 8330/8110, AMAT P5000 MxP, Gasonics Aura 1000, Gasonics Iridia, STS HRM Bosch Trench Etcher.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Equipment Maintenance Field.
• Strong mechanical skills
• Strong electronic skills
• Demonstrated problem solving ability
• Must have knowledge of SPC and know how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work on complex electrical systems, to include 120, 240, and 480 volts.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 40lbs.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
This position involves the preventative and corrective maintenance of the tool sets found in the Etch area. Additional tool sets include Axcelis Fusion, Semitool SST, Semitool SRD, and manual wet benches.

Hours are on a compressed work week, 3 days on 7am to 7pm one week, and 4 days the next week. Both day and night shifts available.

Due to the nature of this position and the required access to areas where ITAR-controlled articles and/or technical data may be present, candidates must meet the applicable U.S. person requirements for ITA R access. This includes individuals who are:

• A lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder); or
• A protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).

This position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL.
