Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. in Palm Bay, FL is seeking an experienced Thin Film Maintenance Technician to support its manufacturing facility. The role requires a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills and a focus on preventive and corrective maintenance of Thin Film tooling.

You will work on AMAT Endura, P5000 DCVD, Novellus Concept 1, Varian 3180/3290 and related systems, with a night shift on a compressed work week. Competitive benefits and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• AS or BS in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering, military training, or 10+ years relevant work experience.
• 5+ years supporting AMAT Endura, AMAT P5000, Novellus Concept 1,Varian 3180/3290, WJ999R.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with a minimum of 10 years experience in the Equipment Maintenance Field.
• Strong mechanical skills
• Strong electronic skills
• Excellent Oral communication skills
• Excellent Written Communication skills
• Demonstrated problem solving ability
• Must have knowledge of SPC and know how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work on complex electrical systems, to include 120, 240, and 480 volts.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Thin Film tool sets in the area.
• Troubleshoot and repair AMAT/Novellus equipment in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.
• Assist with spare parts and root-cause analysis for tool uptime.

This position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL.

This is a NIGHT shift position, and hours are on a compressed work week, 3 days- 7pm to 7am one week, and 4 days the next week.
