Renesas Electronics is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for the Palm Bay, FL facility. The role focuses on preventative and corrective maintenance of Thin Film tool sets, including AMAT Endura and P5000, Novellus Concept 1, Varian 3180/3290, and related equipment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in semicon manufacturing, strong mechanical/electronic skills, and SPC knowledge. This 100% onsite night-shift position offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• AS or BS in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering, military training, or 10+ years relevant work experience.
• 5+ years supporting AMAT Endura, AMAT P5000, Novellus Concept 1, Varian 3180/3290, WJ999R.
• 5+ years in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with 10+ years in Equipment Maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electronic skills; demonstrated problem solving ability; knowledge of SPC.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of Thin Film tool sets (AMAT/Novellus/Varian) in the Palm Bay facility.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime; follow SPC guidelines.
• Ensure safety and proper handling of ITAR-controlled processes and areas.

Equipment Maintenance Technician (Thin Films)

Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced technician to fill the role of Thin Film Maintenance Technician supporting its manufacturing facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and communication skills. This position offers development opportunities working for a leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog semiconductors.

This position involves the preventative and corrective maintenance of the tool sets found in the Thin Film area. Tool sets include Novellus Concept 1, AMAT P5000 DCVD, AMAT 5500 Endura, AMAT 5200 RTP, AMAT 5200 WxZ, WJ999R, and Varian 3180/3290.

Education Requirements:

• AS or BS in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering, military training, or 10+ years relevant work experience.

Experience Requirements / Skills:

• 5+ years supporting AMAT Endura, AMAT P5000, Novellus Concept 1,Varian 3180/3290, WJ999R
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with a minimum of 10 years experience in the Equipment Maintenance Field.
• Strong mechanical skills
• Strong electronic skills
• Demonstrated problem solving ability
• Must have knowledge of SPC and know how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 40lbs.

• A lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder); or

This position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL.

This is a NIGHT shift position, and hours are on a compressed work week, 3 days- 7pm to 7am one week, and 4 days the next week.
