Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an equipment engineer to join a team focused on world‑class process/equipment and yield enhancement. You will work with Equipment/Process Technicians to troubleshoot, perform tool qualifications, and reduce interlocks while applying lean tools for long‑term prevention.

The role requires a BS in engineering and at least two years of industry experience, with strong preference for 300mm dry etch experience and familiarity with major etch equipment.

Formación

• BS degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or related field plus minimum 2 years of industry experience.
• Experience with 300mm Dry Etch is highly desired.
• Familiarity with Etch Equipment (Lam, TEL, AMAT, Hitachi, SEMES, Mattson, PSK, etc.) preferred.
• Experience with TPM concepts is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment in the factory with a focus on root cause analysis and 5S.
• Perform tool qualifications, lot dispositions, and interlock/alarm reduction activities.
• Run experiments and analyze data to improve capacity and defect performance.
• Monitor trends and coordinate with Tool Owners to implement corrective actions.
• Apply LEAN/TPM concepts for long‑term issue prevention.
• Attend pass-down meetings to communicate factory state regarding Equipment.
